SCGeo ATLASFEST

Join the SC Geographic Alliance on Saturday, September 20, to celebrate the release of the updated Atlas of South Carolina from USC Press.  ATLASFEST is a half-day professional development event focused on social studies instruction, blending skills and content from across the standards, to teach students about the Palmetto State.  We are partnering with USC's renowned Hazards Vulnerability and Resilience Institute (HVRI) to explore how hazards shape life in South Carolina, using the updated atlas as a starting point.  

Attendees will receive a physical copy of the atlas, access to the event, and snacks.
