    for Planning Results Based Professional Development

      Lunch 12:00- 1:00 PM

      Round Table Discussions 1:00- 4:00 PM

      Developing Local Project Goals based on:

    • Your District Goals and Initiatives
    • (Teacher and Principal Evaluation, College and Career Readiness, AP enrollment and passing rates, End of Course Exams, achievement gap goals, etc.)
    • Measurable Student Achievement Outcomes

     Crafting an Evaluation Plan for Progress Monitoring: 
     (options from simple existing district measures to comprehensive multi-year  longitudinal studies, based on your needs)

    • Data collection
    • Project measures
    • District goal measures
    • Setting up a feedback loop

     Communicating the Plan:

    • to participants
    • to district staff
    • to school leadership
    • to students
    • to parents

     Building Capacity

    • Differentiate professional development to meet your teacher’s learning needs
    • Align the plan to the local teacher evaluation plan
    • Internalize the training plan through a coaching model 
    • Utilize existing structures for lesson study (PLCs, common plan, etc.)
